The City of Hutto and Titan Development announce a new agreement with EDC Moving Systems, a full service moving, storage, and distribution company, to relocate its Austin logistics and storage operations to an approximately 150,000 square foot space at Innovation Business Park.
“One of the goals this City Council has always been focused on is creating a more robust local economy,” said Mayor Doug Gaul. “We are excited to welcome EDC Moving Systems, their employees and families to Hutto.”
EDC plans to relocate 38 full-time employees from Austin and will employ 12 contract workers. The company intends to hire 12 new positions over the course of the first five years.

We are eager to build relationships with the people and businesses of Hutto. Our employees are our cornerstone, and we are happy to relocate to an area that is more convenient and economical for our staff and their families.”
The company offers local, domestic and international household, office and industrial moving and storage, as well as white glove furniture delivery for high-end furniture companies, such a Z Gallerie, Tommy Bahama Home, and Grayson Luxury. They also deliver cabinets to many new construction projects across the state and are a premier vendor for events such as SXSW and Red Bull events.
EDC includes a division specializing in the hospitality and the food service industry, from remodeling hotels to storing and delivering industrial kitchen equipment and supplies and has expanded into the IT and medical markets, supporting customers such as Dell, Total Site Solutions, St. David’s, Seton, and Dell Children’s Hospital.

Innovation Business Park, a 72-acre business park, which will be home to approximately 800,000 sq. ft. of space at complete build out, broke ground in November 2017 and began the first phase of construction with 150,000 sq. ft. of business spec space for one to four tenants. With this agreement, Innovation Business Park will see a fifth building constructed providing 100,000 sq. ft. out of 150,000 sq. ft. build-to-suit for EDC Moving Center.
