Texas Governor Greg Abbott is in Dallas this afternoon where he will speak on the days of unrest, protests, and riots that sparked across the state at 1pm.
The volatile protests erupted across the US and even made its way into France, the UK and Canada following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis while in police custody. On Sunday (5/31) Governor Abbott dedicated more resources, including state troopers and deployed the national guard to Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, and Austin to help local governments deal with the protests.
