Williamson County officials say a Chemical plant fire near Walburg is under control. They have lifted a shelter in place order.
A fire broke out at the CPI Products plant at 4100 FM 1105, Thursday afternoon. County officials made a shelter in place order for all residents living within a mile of the plant.
As of 8:30pm Thursday, the order was lifted. Officials said, the fire is under control and Firefighters continued to work on hot spots through the night.
