UT study shows kids are impacted emotionally by social media

A new UT study shows the impact social media has on kids’ emotions. The study looks at the emotional response in adolescents when they didn’t get enough “likes” on a social media post, and it finds there is an adverse impact on self-esteem. The study goes on to say fewer social media “likes” make kids more susceptible to clinical depression.
