Murphy is a 6ft 1, 290-pound BEAST from Desoto. He had 40 tackles and 5 sacks in 6 games this season. Voted First-Team All-State this season after receiving unanimous all district selection in 2019.
Two hours-ish after announcing his de-commitment from Baylor, this little nugget popped up.

So there you have it, after weeks of not-so-great-news involving recruits for the Texas Longhorns, this helps a little.
Just to keep up with his announcements on Twitter, Murphy also tweeted today that 247Sports bumped his star number from 3 to 4.
