Two seats on Austin City Council, two Austin ISD School board positions, and one seat on the Georgetown City Council are up for grabs today. It is again Election Day, and here is where you can cast your ballot for your next local representative. Voting ends at 7pm tonight.
In Austin, residents in Districts 6 and 10 will have the chance to pick their next City Council representative. In Northwest Austin’s District 6 challenger MacKenzie Kelly is taking on Incumbent Jimmy Flannigan. And in District 10 Incumbent Allison Alter is squaring off with challenger Jennifer Virden.
In Georgetown, the city’s vacant District 2 seat will be decided in today’s run off election, with contenders’ Lisa King and Shawn Wood vying for the spot.
