Every adult in Texas, 16 and over will be eligible to receive the COVID Vaccine starting next Monday. Vaccine supplies from the CDC are expected to increase significantly over the next month.
Texas will easily eclipse President Biden’s call for the states to make every adult eligible for the COVID vaccine by May 1, The Department of State Health Services Chris Van Deusen, “You know it just makes sense as we continue to see the vaccine supply ramping up, at least that’s what our federal partners are telling us, that its time to continue to expand and make sure that we keep this momentum going.”
Van Deusen adds, the state will also roll out a new website to make it even easier to locate providers with available doses, “People can go and sign up for vaccines either through one our public health clinics or one of the participating local health departments.”
