More Than One Million Vaccine Doses Heading to Texas Distributors

Covid Vaccine doses

Week 16 of COVID-19 vaccine allocations is underway, and this week the Department of State Health Services says the state is doling out more than a million doses of vaccine.  As of Monday, all people age 16 or older are eligible for a vaccination, although there are some caveats.  Anyone under the age of 18 is only eligible for the Pfizer jab.  The US Food and Drug Administration has set the age limit for Moderna’s two-shot vaccine and Johnson and Johnson’s single-shot vaccine at 18.
