Dave Chappelle returns with the sixth – and final – chapter of his Netflix series of stand-up specials. The Closer will debut October 5th on the streaming service, and is the follow up to Chapelle’s other specials: The Age of Spin, Deep in the Heart of Texas, Equanimity, The Bird Revelation, and Sticks & Stones.
Netflix shared a teaser of the special (here), and in it you’ll find Chappelle saying: “Sometimes the funniest thing to say is mean. Remember, I’m not saying it to be mean: I’m saying it because it’s funny.” The trailer then shares a quick greatest-hits reel of the previous five specials.
