A 2 year old is dead and Austin Police arrest the man and woman charged with the child’s care.
APD reports the little Isabella Rios was rushed to an area hospital after her caretaker Bernadette Hernandez, 37, called 911 about Rios having a seizure and having trouble breathing.
Rios died at the hospital and Child Abuse investigators were brought in. Investigators found Rios died because of blunt force trauma.
Police charged both Hernandez and Ramiro Recio, 33, with injury to a child serious bodily injury.
