Austin Police say 23-year-old Issac Thomas faces capital murder charges in the death of 25-year-old Tony Lamar Huggins two days ago. Huggins was found in the parking lot near a Northeast Austin Walmart by APD and EMS with a penetrating wound and died at the scene.
Thomas was arrested yesterday in Bastrop on an unrelated charge. Investigators say the shooting happened over an illegal drug transaction.
