The 13 Austin Firefighter who traveled west to help battle California’s deadly wildfires have returned just in time for Thanksgiving. AFD Capt. Andre De la Reza says going in they heard what they were facing but when they arrived it truly sunk in.
De la Reza says they spent 9 days on the mission, and it’s good to be home.
