Gasoline prices in Austin have fallen 5.3 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.33/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 830 stations in Austin. This compares with the national average that has fallen 5.6 cents per gallon versus last week to $2.62/g, according to GasBuddy.
Average gasoline prices on November 18 in Austin have ranged widely over the last five years:
$2.24/g in 2017, $1.92/g in 2016, $1.94/g in 2015, $2.65/g in 2014 and $2.99/g in 2013.
Including the change locally during the past week, prices yesterday were 9.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago and are 26.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has dropped 24.1 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 7.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.

San Antonio- $2.22/g, down 6.4 cents per gallon from last week’s $2.29/g.
Waco- $2.26/g, down 5.9 cents per gallon from last week’s $2.32/g.
College Station- $2.31/g, down 7.1 cents per gallon from last week’s $2.38/g.
