The Austin School District Board is scheduled to take up the issue of a new sex education curriculum that talks more about LGBTQ issues at tonight’s meeting. Parent Carol Ayala says the new curriculum goes too far. She says these are values issues that should be taught at home by families.

But, supporters say kids need to know this kind of information. The curriculum would be taught in grades three through eight.
