Austin ISD continues to host community meetings about its proposed school closure and consolidation plans.
This evening District staffers will be at Northeast Early College High School, formerly Reagan early college, from 6pm to 8pm discussing what could be done and how it could effect nearby schools, specifically, how the proposed school changes plans could effect Webb and Dobie Middle Schools, Northeast Early College High and both Ridgetop and Reilly Elementary Schools.
The discussions are about rough draft options the school board was approached with, nothing is set in stone just yet, but district staff hope the community discussions will guide them to a final plan they can recommend to the board later this fall.
