The Austin Police Department’s 145th Cadet Class will participate in the Community Connect program on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Members of the Austin community will be given a chance to interact with the newest crop of police cadets, as well as with APD district representatives.
According to APD, one of the key priorities for the department is to establish meaningful connections and relationships with members of the Austin community. The Community Connect program is part of the ongoing cadet training process that emphasizes the significance of community relationships, community input, and servant leadership.
The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. at Edward Rendon Sr. Park at 2101 Jesse E Segovia St.
