Police Chief Brian Manley will continue to lead the department even after several City Councilmembers either asked him to resign or said they have lost confidence in his ability to lead, following the department’s actions during the George Floyd protests.
City Manager Spencer Cronk told council, he’s had several very pointed conversations with the Chief, and has been assured of Manley’s commitment to making the necessary police reforms.
