Austin Police need your help in identifying a man they say tried to kidnap a person in Southwest Austin last month. They say the survivor was walking along a train behind her home around the Cobblestone and Cedar Elm Trail area, when the suspect came out and tried pulling her into the woods, but she managed to escape.
The suspect is described as:
- White male
- 5’10”
- 40 – 50 years of age
- Medium build
- Shoulder length brown hair
- Light brown, unkempt, medium length beard
- “Very blue” eyes
- Wrinkles on his face and a sunburn on his skin
- Wearing really dirty white shirt and pants
- Smell of alcohol and body odor emitting from him
