Results are out this week from a DWI Enforcement Initiative that was conducted by the Austin Police Department between June 23rd through July 9th. During that time, APD data shows there were 136 DWI-related arrests on the roadways, as well as one Boating While Intoxicated arrest by Austin Lake Patrol.
The No Refusal period from June 29th thru July 9th resulted in 13 blood search warrants, 35 through breath samples with consent, and 10 from blood samples with consent.
