Austin City Council is going to vote on so called designated encampments this Thursday. Following last weekends vote to reinstate the camping ban, the City leaders are set to consider ordering the City Manager to work with Homeless advocates and look into creating and funding Designated Encampements on Public Land or property owned by willing community partners.
