A former City of Austin Code Department worker has been accused of abusing his authority.
The City Auditor says Franklin Fejarang was an Austin Code Financial manager when he hired three of his roommates to work directly under him, and even paid them more than the typical staffer.
The audit also says he planned to hire the brother of someone he met through a dating app.
