Austin-Travis County EMS says it is well prepared for this year’s Spring Festival and SXSW festivities. Beginning at 4 pm on Tuesday, ATCEMS will activate its Patient Collection Point (PCP) and provide an increased downtown presence with additional medics on ambulances, “gators,” and motorcycles.
ATCEMS says it will also once again provide daily, interactive incident mapping that will give the public the ability to view incident locations, nature of responses, and patient dispositions. Incident summaries and updates for each 12 hour operational period will be released on the following day by.
This is the third consecutive year ATCEMS will be providing a live audio feed of ATCEMS radio traffic from the downtown event area through its Broadcastify channel, which can be found athttp://bit.ly/ATCEMSLiveRadioTraffic beginning at 3 pm on Tuesday.
