Austin Public health warns some test sites need to go digital with results

Three months after Austin Public Health reported labs returning COVID test results via fax machine, officials say some local pharmacies, free-standing ERs, and urgent care clinics still aren’t meeting their reporting obligations. Austin Public Health will be sending out reminders and those sites that still don’t properly report will face a Class C misdemeanor charge.
