Burdensome regulations, high taxes and escalating rents are a big part of the woes that Austin businesses are feeling.
That’s according to a new member survey of the Austin Independent Business Alliance just released. A-I-B-A executive director Rebecca Melancon said business owners tell her their being besieged.
She said owners retiring because they can’t keep up with taxes and higher rents and other businesses are fleeing Austin for friendlier suburbs.
