Among the upgrades are:
Widening Slaughter between Brodie Lane and Mopac from four to six lanes.
25 signals will get upgrades and as many as four pedestrian hybrid beacons will be put up.
They’ll improve the intersections at Escarpment, Brodie, Congress and I-35.
Cap Metro bus stops will be relocated.
They’ll improve bike and pedestrian facilities as well as lay new pavement.
