State lawmakers will consider a bill next year that would make it a requirement to add a note to a student’s transcript if a student is expelled from school because of sexual assault. Representative Chris Turner is the bill’s author.
The idea is to ensure that any college where the student tries to transfer will know about the sexual assault history.
