Ground is broken for the RM 2900 bridge in Kingland. Crews will replace the old bridge that was destroyed by recent flooding with a perch bridge, whichw ill be higher in the middle by five feet. TXDOT’s Diann Hodges says that will make a huge difference during the next big flood. The bridge also will be wider than before.
