Advocates of full electric transportation are applauding Austin’s commitment to building up an all-electric bus fleet. Advocate Tom Smith says this is a worldwide movement.
Area transit agency Capital Metro’s board approved the purchase of up to 10 all battery busses to start costing $11-million. The board also approved the purchase of more clean diesel buses.
