There has been a slight decrease in the number of child abuse cases in Texas.
But, Lisa Block with the Department of Family and protective services says last year there were still 2128 confirmed cases in Travis County and more than 66-thousand state wide.
Block says you can help by noticing the signs of abuse. She says you can then report it an they’ll investigate.
