City council claims massive bond package this fall solves many long-standing problems

Council member Greg Casar is one of the council members pounding the pavement to win your approval this November to borrow $925-million in bonds, $250-million of which would go toward taxpayer-subsidized housing.  But Casar says this large dollar amount addresses many requests the council has heard since transitioning into the 10-1 model.

Mayor Steve Adler is in support of many of the propositions on the ballot, although not Proposition K which would put the entire city government under the microsope for an efficiency audit to
identify wasteful spending.
