Austin’s booming economy is not without its pitfalls, especially for smaller businesses. Austin Independent Business Alliance Executive Director Rebecca Melloncon says that’s especially true for those seeking to add workers, because they are finding it hard to find qualified people to fill jobs.
She cites the strong unemployment rate in Austin which is currently less than three percent.
