The Texas Commission on School Finance continues to work on new and better ways to fund public schools in Texas. Education Commissioner Mike Morath says the goal remains the same, to graduate students who are ready for the next step in life, be that college or going directly into the workforce. The commission will make recommendations to the legislature in time for next year’s legislative session.
