Travis County could soon be providing the Village of Briarcliff law enforcement patrols if they can agree on who pays for what.
The cost that Briarcliff was first pitched for having two Precinct 2 deputies patrol the village was around eight thousand a month but then they it was decided a vehicle would be needed. The County would have to pay for that upfront and now Commissioner Gerald Daugherty worries how this deal will go down.
Commissioners decided to bring the issue back next week after talks with village officials.
