Companies bid for moon shot

The moon
NASA is partnering with nine US companies to get its equipment to the moon. NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine says it has tapped three of those companies to be the first companies to send up payloads.

Among the other six who didn’t make the cut is Cedar Park-based Firefly Aerospace. But NASA officials say all nine companies are still eligible to bid on subsequent missions.
