Pet owners are being warned to beware of coyotes after a photo of a coyote chasing a loose dog was published on the Austin Animal Center Facebook page. The photo was taken by a Texas Parks & Wildlife game camera. Parks and Wildlife says this time of year wild animals are being taught how to hunt and survive.
The dog in the photo got out of his yard in East Austin but was safely reunited with its owners. Austin Animal Center urges you to supervise your animals and keep pets on a leash.
