President Donald Trump claims he tried to stop a crowd chant of “Send her back!” at a re-election event in North Carolina even though video shows otherwise.
The crowd’s shouts resounded for 13 seconds Wednesday as Trump made no attempt to interrupt them, pausing his speech and taking in the uproar.
The chant erupted when Trump questioned the loyalty of Somali-born Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, who says the Republican president is a “fascist” and his policies “are a nightmare.”

Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee who’ll question ex-special counsel Robert Mueller next week plan to focus on a narrow set of episodes laid out in his report, an effort to direct Americans’ attention to what they see as the most egregious examples of President Donald Trump’s conduct.
The examples include Trump’s directions to White House counsel Donald McGahn to have Mueller removed. Republicans are expected to focus on Mueller’s conclusion there wasn’t enough evidence of a conspiracy.

“You vote with your money, right? You vote for who you want to be in business. And, so, I think that, if you want a lot of choices, and you want to keep prices fair, then you should think about shopping locally, if at all possible,” Galindo says.
Analysts call it the “Amazon Effect,” and it could impact 75,000 retailers nationwide by 2026.

Texas-based Southwest Airlines has pushed back the date it expects to put Boeing 737 Max jets back into service by a month, which is expected to have a ripple effect at airports around the country.
Through November 2, Southwest will drop about 180 flights a day. Southwest had 34 Max jets that were grounded back in March.
