Dell Diamond is now officially in use as a drive-thru vaccination site. As of today, the county says it plans to have the ballpark play host to the vaccination clinic every day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. until further notice. There will be 18 drive-thru lanes. The Dell Diamond has opened up today as the county’s newest drive-thru vaccine site. Judge Bill Gravell says it will be the county’s largest vaccination location.
He says there are, “18 drive thru stations there, and they’re… and they are scheduled to go 7 days a week until we stop them.”
Curative, which is also overseeing vaccines at Georgetown High School, will be administering the shots, with the expectation that at least a couple thousand can be dosed out every day at the ballpark.
