Texas Democrats are training their sights on Governor Greg Abbott following the release of emails about the Texas Voter Roll Purge controversy.
San Antonio US Rep. Juaquin Castro says those emails make it clear to him and others that Governor Abbott and his office should be investigated as part of an effort to take away tens of thousands of Naturalized Americans and Hispanic Texans’ right to vote while claiming it was illegal immigrants casting ballots.
Castro pledges to ask the US House oversight and government reform committee to investigate.
