Twelve inches of rain over the Llano River in October led to more than 800 claims of flood damage in Central Texas. The Insurance Council of Texas’ Mark Hanna says claims are being paid for those who do and don’t live in floodplains.
Hanna expects the claims payout will go north of $30 million dollars. He urges everyone to get flood insurance as a precaution.
