The latest federal rainfall intensity and floodplain maps are about to wreak havoc on public improvement projects slated for Travis County.
Commissioner Gerald Daugherty wants to make sure that they’re not isolated in adopting the new maps in their public works.
He wants to see Hays County as well as neighboring municipalities like Buda, Kyle and Dripping Springs get on board with the new Atlas-14 maps. Talks with those bodies are expected to begin this week.
