Former USA National Team gymnasts speak out about being sexually assaulted

Tasha Schweikert won a bronze medal in the 2000 Olympics. She claims she and her sister were sexually abused by now-convicted child molester and former USA Gymnastics Doctor Larry Nassar when they were training in Texas.

Schweikert said lawmakers in Texas have a moral duty to hold accountable anyone who played a role in this abuse.

Schweikert and other former gymnasts testified in favor of House Bill 3809 that would extend the statute of limitations on child sexual assault from 15 to 30 years and hold institutions like USA Gymnastics responsible as well.
