There will be free walk up Covid 19 test sites in the Del Valle and Pflugerville areas starting Monday, August 3rd.
Austin Public Health says they are working with the Texas Military Department and Texas Division of Emergency Management to offer the free test.
In Del Valle, a test site will be set up at the Del Valle Middle School and run through August 3rd til the 16th, between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Officials say this test site will be able to handle 800 tests a day on a first come, first serve basis.
In Pflugerville, officials will operate out of the Pfleid from Monday, August 3rd through the 8th that Friday. They say this site will be able to handle 300 tests a day.
