Governor Abbott is leading a delegation to Japan and South Korea for a week-long economic development mission. Jenna Sauceda Herrera with the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation is on the trip and she points to Toyota expansion in Texas as a past success that we can build on.
More than 400 Japanese companies have a presence in Texas. South Korean companies also have a large footprint in Texas, like the huge Samsung plant here in Austin.
