Governor Greg Abbott says words alone are inadequate in responding to the latest mass shooting over the weekend in Midland/Odessa. The Governor says the status-quo is no longer acceptable and action is needed.
Seven people were killed and over 20 injured when a man started shooting after he was pulled over during a traffic stop and began shooting people at random as a chase with police ensued. The man was killed by police outside an Odessa movie theater.
