Student debt is a huge issue across the country/ In Texas, there is 1.6 billion dollars in student debt, and Ashley Williams with the Center for Public Polity Priorities says it’s only getting worse. She says what’s driving the trend is deregulation of tuition. She says to solve the crisis there needs to be a greater discussion in Texas os state funding for higher education which has shrunk for generations.
