Group drops lawsuit against Austin to block anti-LGBTQ discrimination ordinance

A leading proponent of last legislative session’s bathroom bill is dropping a lawsuit against the City of Austin over its anti-LGBTQ discrimination ordinance.

The Statesman reports the Houston-based U.S. Pastor Council, withdrew the suit after the city filed motions stating the ordinance doesn’t apply to churches… and that the group couldn’t prove how their members were harmed by the ordinance.
