The addition of Red Flag gun laws is being discussed at the State Capitol today. It’s part of Governor Abbott’s 40-point recommendations for school safety in the wake of the Santa Fe shooting.
Red Flag Laws allow law enforcement, a family member, school employee, or a district attorney to file a petition seeking the removal of firearms from a potentially dangerous person.
