The Hays County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Head Start employee who is accused of inappropriately touching three Head Start students. Head Start is independent of Hays CISD, but uses space at Uhland Elementary School. Because the alleged indecent behavior occurred on one of HCISD’s campuses, officials sent a letter to all parents of Uhland Elementary School when they first learned of the allegations. Additionally, officials sent another letter to parents Thursday regarding the employee’s arrest.
