A shortage of drugs and critical medicines in emergency rooms across America have been hitting hospitals in Central Texas. Dell Seton Emergency Medical Director Doctor Christopher Ziebell says they’ve been through shortages of painkillers, antibiotics and more. Ziebell also said that sometimes drugs they use to induce anesthesia for operative procedures become non-existant for short periods of time.

Dr Ziebell says the drug policy in the US is part of the problem since some of the meds they were short of were plentiful elsewhere in the world.
