Appearing on the Todd and Don Show, Housing Secretary Ben Carson says warehousing the homeless isn’t the answer. He calls his approach housing first, second, and third.
Those steps include getting the homeless off the street, finding out the real reasons someone is homeless, whether it’s affordability, lack of work, mental issues or addiction, and then taking steps to address those problems.
